Whether it\u2019s five minutes of stretching, a short walk between classes, or exploring group activities at the Student Recreation Center, every step counts.<br \/>\nLet\u2019s move forward together toward a healthier, more energized campus community.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other Ways to Support your Health Goals<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> <strong>Get enough quality sleep<\/strong> \u2014 Aim for 7\u20139 hours each night, room should be cool, avoid caffeine in the afternoon\/evening, alcohol may help fall asleep, but disrupts health sleep patterns at night.<br \/>\n<strong> Stay hydrated<\/strong> \u2014 Drink water regularly throughout the day to support energy and focus.<br \/>\n<strong> Eat a balanced diet<\/strong> \u2014 Eat to satiety, then stop. Include a variety of colorful fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins.<br \/>\n<strong> Take breaks from screens<\/strong> \u2014 Give your eyes and mind a rest with short movement or breathing breaks, especially before bed time.<br \/>\n<strong> Connect with others<\/strong> \u2014 Spend time with friends, family, or community groups to boost your mood and motivation.<br \/>\n<strong> Manage stress<\/strong> \u2014 Try simple techniques like deep breathing, mindfulness, or a walk outdoors.<br \/>\n\ufe0f <strong>Celebrate small wins<\/strong> \u2014 Every positive step\u2014no matter how small\u2014counts toward a healthier you.<br \/>\n\u2696\ufe0f <strong>More is not always better<\/strong> \u2014 Physical activity can be helpful in many ways, but too much can be a problem too.
