In these times of dis-ease, xenophobic violence, and civil unrest, Dr. Weiner argues that critical educators should reassert the importance of what bell hooks (pseudonym of Gloria Jean Watkins, American scholar and activist) calls an \u201cethic of love\u201d and Paulo Freire called a \u201cpedagogy of love\u201d into the praxis of teaching\/learning.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>TCRecord<\/em> is a journal of research, analysis, and commentary in the field of education.
