{"id":123819,"date":"2022-01-11T14:54:05","date_gmt":"2022-01-11T19:54:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/cchl\/?p=123819"},"modified":"2022-01-11T14:54:05","modified_gmt":"2022-01-11T19:54:05","slug":"university-launches-mph-mba-dual-degree","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/cchl\/2022\/01\/11\/university-launches-mph-mba-dual-degree\/","title":{"rendered":"University Launches MPH\/MBA Dual Degree"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Montclair State University has launched a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/graduate\/programs-of-study\/dual-degree-program-mph-mba\/\">Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Systems Administration and Policy and Master of Business Administration (MBA) dual graduate degree program<\/a>\u00a0for the fall 2022 semester, preparing graduates with unique qualifications to meet current health-care system and public health challenges.<\/p>\n<p>In joining together the two successful master\u2019s programs, Montclair will provide a high-level experience for students interested in both public health and health-care organization management. Graduates of the program will be positioned to fill the increasing number of roles in the health-care management industry in the tristate area and beyond.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn this climate of heightened need for and awareness of excellent public health management, the \u2018marriage\u2019 of our business and public health curricula will provide our graduates and their communities with outstanding resources to meet present and future challenges,\u201d says Elizabeth Rosini, associate dean of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/business.montclair.edu\/\">Feliciano School of Business.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The MPH curriculum is shaped around the core public health principles of health equity and social justice as the means to improve the health-care system and overall population health.
