Montclair State University\u2019s online\u00a0Master of Arts in Educational Leadership<\/a>\u00a0program is ranked No. 1 in New Jersey and No. 15 in the nation \u2013 up 10 spots from 2020 \u2013 in the U.S. News & World Report 2021 Best Online Programs rankings.<\/em>\u00a0The program also ranked among the top 20 in the nation in the rankings\u2019 specialty area results for Educational Administration and Supervision, moving up three spots to No. 19.<\/span><\/p>\n

Two other online graduate programs offered by Montclair State also placed among the nation\u2019s best in the annual rankings.<\/p>\n

The University\u2019s\u00a0Master of Science in Information Technology<\/a>\u00a0with a concentration in Applied Information Technology (Professional Science Master\u2019s) is now ranked No. 56 in the nation, while Montclair State\u2019s online\u00a0Master of Business Administration (MBA)<\/a>\u00a0program continued its climb up the rankings to No. 79 (up nine spots from 2020).<\/p>\n

U.S. News program rankings are based on scores from five categories \u2013 student engagement, services and technologies, student excellence, faculty credentials and training, and opinions of academic experts.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese rankings once again highlight Montclair State University\u2019s ability to deliver a nationally prominent, accessible education in any delivery mode,\u201d says Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Willard Gingerich. \u201cThey affirm that when a student commits to an online program at Montclair State, they are pursuing industry-leading credentials \u2013 while perhaps also continuing to build professional experience \u2013 at a distinguished public research university dedicated to their advancement in their respective industries.\u201d<\/p>\n

Montclair State also offers several other online graduate degree and certificate options designed to equip working professionals with career-enhancing skills.<\/p>\n

The University\u2019s Master of Science degree in\u00a0Sustainability Science<\/a>\u00a0integrates industry-related coursework with opportunities for business and leadership skill development. Montclair State\u2019s online\u00a0Master of Science in Nursing<\/a>\u00a0prepares registered nurses (RNs) for advanced practice in administration, education and clinical research.<\/p>\n

A fully online\u00a0Master of Arts in Child Advocacy and Policy<\/a>\u00a0prepares professionals for career advancement, and the University\u2019s low-residency\u00a0Master of Fine Arts in Dance<\/a>\u00a0uniquely combines on-ground studio work with online theory and research. Other offerings include a\u00a0Master of Science in Business Analytics<\/a>, and a\u00a0Pre-licensure MSN program for non-nursing college graduates<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Graduate certificate options<\/a>\u00a0including\u00a0Virtual Learning for Students with Disabilities<\/a>,\u00a0K-12 Computer Science Teaching<\/a>,\u00a0Gifted and Talented Education<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Computing Technology<\/a>\u00a0are also available for those who may already have an advanced degree but want to build out or update skills that can enhance their career goals.<\/p>\n
