Dr. McCray is a Professor in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/educational-leadership\">Educational Leadership Department<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Reviewers Allison M. Borden and Tyson E.J. Marsh noted that &#8220;this second edition of School Leadership in a Diverse Society: Helping Schools Prepare all Students for Success proves once again a powerful text in presenting a critical foundational understanding of the leadership minoritized youth and communities require to survive schooling at our current crossroads, while also providing a concise analysis of the structures and legacies of educational inequity and injustice.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Dr. McCray&#8217;s areas of expertise include: urban school leadership, organizational diversity, educational equity, and he has a growing interest in the high attrition rate of urban K-12 students as a result of their multiple suspensions and expulsions.
