Board of Education National Historic Park in Topeka, Kansas, for a special event commemorating the 30th anniversary of the opening of the Brown v. Board of Education National Historical Park. The event will take place on Friday, September 30, 2022, from 9:00 am &#8211; 12:00 pm.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Burkholder is a historian of education with expertise in antiracist education. She recently authored <em>An African American Dilemma<\/em>., for which she received the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/ceel\/2022\/04\/18\/dr-zoe-burkholder-receives-society-of-professors-of-education-outstanding-book-award\">2022 Professors of Education Outstanding Book Award<\/a> from the Society of Professors of Education (SPE). Dr. Burkholder also appeared on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/ceel\/2022\/02\/25\/dr-zoe-burkholder-on-the-oxford-comment\"><em>The Oxford Comment<\/em>, hosted by Oxford University Press<\/a> as part of Black History Month, where she examined issues around education, integration, and segregation through scholarship.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dr. Zo\u00eb Burkholder, Educational Foundations Professor, will speak at the upcoming Brown v.
