Dr. Tamara Leech, Associate Professor of Public Health, has recently been accepted as a member of the ACE (Advancing Collaborative Evaluation) Network, an initiative of the Annie E. Casey Foundation, to promote diversity in the evaluation sector.

Dr. Leech is one of the 24 "new recruits" for this year’s cohort. This group comprises experienced evaluators from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups who are available to conduct evaluations for foundations, think tanks, nonprofits, research institutes and other producers and consumers of evaluation who recognize the value of greater diversity in the evaluation field.

Overall, Dr. Leech’s work focuses on the well being of young people who live in marginalized and underprivileged urban environments.

The Annie E. Casey Foundation is devoted to developing a brighter future for millions of children at risk of poor educational, economic, social and health outcomes. For more information about the foundation, please visit: http://www.aecf.org/
