Recently, the Board of Directors of the American Evaluation Association (AEA) created a new University-Based Centers Topic Information Group (TIG). The creation of this TIG came from research and feedback Dr. Eden Kyse, Director of the Center for Research and Evaluation on Education and Human Services (CREEHS) performed with employees from Louisiana State University, Claremont Graduate University, and University of Mississippi.

These researchers petitioned the AEA to establish the TIG as they noticed a growing interest at each annual meeting as universities needed guidance from their peers on revenue-generating centers. At the approval of the group, Dr. Kyse was named founding Program Co-Chair.

The formation of this group will provide additional value to AEA members as well as leadership opportunities and a place for universities to exchange best practices and ideas.
