Dr. Yeon Bai and Dr. Lauren Dinour Receive Award for Breastfeeding Poster

Dr. Yeon Bai, Professor and Dr. Lauren Dinour, Associate Professor, will receive the award of Outstanding Abstract for their poster “Is Breast Best? Knowledge and Attitudes of Breastfeeding and Lactation Supports on a University Campus” at the 2019 Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo (FNCE). Abstracts designated with this award received the highest scores from the FNCE reviewers. A certificate acknowledging their achievement will be displayed on the poster board during their presentation. Both Dr. Bai and Dr. Dinour are in the Nutrition and Food Studies department.

The poster was created with data collected and research associated with the Milk on the Move (MOM) campaign at Montclair State University, which educated the campus community about breastfeeding and normalized it.

The 209 FNCE conference will take place October 26-29 in Philadelphia, PA. Each fall, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics sponsors the world’s largest meeting of food and nutrition experts – more than 10,00 registered dietitian nutritionists, nutrition science researchers, policymakers, health-care providers, and industry leaders attend the annual meeting and address key issues affecting the health of all Americans.
