Joe Bavazzano, Director of the ADP Center for Learning Technologies, was recently quoted in the NY Times regarding the usage of screens in the classroom. Joe mentioned how his classes use smartphones for video projects and FaceTime interviews with students from partner universities overseas. In favor of screen technology in the classroom, he also highlighted his “appy hour” programming where new educational software is discussed. He stated, “If I am going to talk about an application that might potentially change the way your classroom is run, I want to run my workshop that way so I want you to see the benefit and the value before we even get started.”
