Sherlene Ayala Appointed to Advisory Board for Region 2 of NASPA

Sherlene Ayala, a Clinical Specialist in the Educational Leadership Department, was recently appointed to the Advisory Board for Region 2 of NASPA. NASPA is a member-centered association supporting a diverse and passionate network of 15,000 professionals and 1,200 institutions across the globe. It is the professional home for the field of student affairs, dedicated to fulfilling the promise of higher education through the guiding principles of integrity, innovation, inclusion, and inquiry.

In addition to her staff position for the M.A. in Higher Education as a Clinical Specialist where she serves as advisor to the graduate council and the Honor Society Chi Sigma Alpha and coordinates the annual Capstone Mini-Conference, Sherlene is a doctoral student in Counseling. Her areas of expertise include Multicultural Affairs and Student Leadership Development.
