Online and outdoor services have been prepared and will dominate this holiday season to mitigate COVID-19 risks. Dr. Stephanie Silvera, Professor in the Public Health Department, says outdoor and online services are the best way to respect the coronavirus and practice one’s faith.

“I know that in some of the reform communities, for example, they’re broadcasting their services via Zoom, which is another option. I know that’s more challenging for our conservative and orthodox community members, so in those cases, if there’s a way to have an outdoor celebration, have outdoor services,” she said.
