PhD Student Tawanda Hubbard Awarded Family Process Institute New Writers Program Fellowship

Tawanda Hubbard, a PhD student in the Family Science and Human Development program has been awarded a Family Process Institute New Writers Program Fellowship for Summer 2022. This is a highly prestigious national opportunity and few are selected each year.
The fellowship supports the development of new scholars who will advance systemic theory, research, and clinical practice grounded in a commitment to social justice.
Selected candidates will participate in The Craft of Scholarly Writing Workshop, a 1.5-day workshop once a quarter, over the course of a year, led by Dr. Evan Imber-Black, former editor of Family Process.
The purpose of the workshop is to help participants shape a developing manuscript for submission to Family Process or other journals, and participants will receive both individual feedback on their work from Dr. Imber-Black and small group consultation. Fellows will also have the opportunity to meet the Family Process Institute Board of Directors.
