FCST 314: Child Development II: Adolescence

In this course student utilize a developmental approach to study adolescents (11-18 years), focusing on physical, cognitive, and social development throughout this age period. Students examine the impact of family, peer, race, ethnicity, socio-cultural, and environmental influences on adolescents. Out-of-class interviews and/or observations are required. 3 hours lecture.

Prerequisites: FCST 214 or PSYC 101
