Faculty members in the College of Education and Human Services are engaged in timely and innovative scholarship to research important questions in the education and human services fields. They are skilled researchers and scholars with doctoral degrees from such institutions as Harvard, Stanford, Columbia, Cornell, New York University, Michigan State University, Pennsylvania State University, University of California at Berkeley, Boston College, George Washington University, University of Wisconsin, University of Massachusetts, and The Ohio State University.

College faculty members are also engaged in developing new knowledge and examining and improving current practices in their fields. There is a strong connection between the research being conducted by faculty members in the College and the work of practitioners in education and human services--including teachers and administrators in P-12 schools, athletic trainers, dieticians, counselors, and family service providers.

Faculty members recognize the importance of preparing professionals in education and human services who can use data appropriately and wisely to make good professional decisions.
