Research on Evaluation and Developmental Systems Science Lab
The Research on Evaluation and Developmental Systems Science Lab (REDSS Lab) explores questions related to developmental science and program evaluation and planning from a systems science perspective.
The REDSS Lab is co-directed by Dr. Jennifer Brown Urban, Associate Professor of Family Science and Human Development and Dr. Miriam Linver, Associate Professor of Family Science and Human Development. REDSS engages in interdisciplinary projects and is engaged in collaborations with several other institutions including Cornell University (Cornell Office for Research on Evaluation), University of North Carolina—Chapel Hill, Tufts University (Institute for Applied Research in Youth Development) and Character Education Scotland (Character Scotland). Graduate and undergraduate research assistants in REDSS come from a variety of departments and disciplines including education, health and nutrition sciences, family and child studies, and psychology.
Many of our REDSS Lab staff are students in the Family Science Doctoral Program, or the Family Science and Human Development Master's or Undergraduate programs.
