{"id":124360,"date":"2022-05-20T10:25:50","date_gmt":"2022-05-20T14:25:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/cehs\/?p=124360"},"modified":"2022-05-20T10:27:37","modified_gmt":"2022-05-20T14:27:37","slug":"marsha-duncan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/cehs\/2022\/05\/20\/marsha-duncan\/","title":{"rendered":"Marsha Duncan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Name<\/strong>: Marsha Duncan<br \/>\n<strong>Program (Degree and Major)<\/strong>: Public Health, Health Systems Administration and Policy (BS)<br \/>\n<strong>Graduation Date<\/strong>: January 2022<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please tell us about your plans post-graduation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I will be continuing my studies here at MSU in the fall pursuing my MPH.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What were the best parts of your program?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The best parts of my program are the knowledge and experiences I\u2019ve gained and also the opportunities to collaborate with other like-minded students.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What was your favorite class or experience in the program, and why was that so important to you?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My favorite class was health economics, particularly because I saw it as a personal challenge but ended up learning so much and excelling in that class.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why did you choose this field of study?\u00a0 Why did you choose the program at Montclair State University?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I chose Public Health because I enjoy working in healthcare and I\u2019m also passionate about being a vocal advocate for patients to improve patient outcomes, cultural competence and inclusivity within the healthcare setting.
