The Center for Faith and Spirituality invites you to join us at the peace pole located at the south entrance of University Hall for a moment of silence in observation of The International Day of Peace (Peace Day). Peace Day was established in 1981 by a United Nations resolution that declared September 21st as a day devoted to commemorating and strengthening the ideals of peace among all nations and peoples. We will gather as a group and will devote thirty minutes to silent contemplation, prayer, meditation, and such in observance of this day.<\/p>\n
