The M.A. in Counseling Program prepares students to be culturally competent social justice counselors to work with diverse populations of all ages in the following four areas: Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Addictions Counseling, School Counseling, and Student Affairs/Higher Education. Students are prepared to work with diverse populations in elementary and secondary schools, community mental health agencies, student affairs positions in colleges and universities, and substance abuse treatment facilities. The academic preparation follows guidelines established by state licensure and certification boards.

Join us for our information session on Wednesday, December 11th at 5:30PM in University Hall Room 1020 to learn about:

  • The MA in Counseling program and our four concentration areas (Addictions, Clinical Mental Health, School, and Student Affairs)
