BRUCE GREEN, ACE, (Editor) From Tina Fey’s Baby Mama to Martin Laurence’s Big Momma’s House Bruce Green’s editing has helped “give birth” to some of Hollywood’s most memorable comedies. His career began as an assistant editor on the seminal adventure films Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and Star Wars: Episode lV- A New Hope.The longtime Garry Marshall collaborator edited both movies in The Princess Diaries series and Valentine’s Day, Runaway Bride, Mother’s Day and The Other Sister.      He has collaborated with director Mark Waters on the films Freaky Friday, Just Like Heaven, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, and Mr. Popper’s Penguins.     Additionally, Green has edited such comedies and comedy/dramas as Punchline,Cool Runnings,Phenomenon,Home Alone 3, While You Were Sleeping,and The Doctor. He also edited action-thrillers like The Vanishing and Young Guns II and, early on in his career Friday the 13th horror films. For Television he  edited the Golden Globe winner  Jane the Virgin, The Witches of East End, and Franklin & Bash. Green’s Editing work can next be seen in Disney + just released family film “Magic Camp” directed by Mark Waters. Green is a past vice president of the Motion Picture Editors Guild and a former faculty member of the American Film Institute. He currently teaches Editing to graduate students at the University of Southern California – School of Cinematic Arts.
