Meet the Staff

The Center for Leadership Development’s staff is here to help you with any and all questions about leadership! Stop by and see us in Student Center, Room 104M!

Jillian Ploskonka

Jill is the Assistant Director for the Center of Student Involvement & Center for Leadership Development. She loves to help students plan and prepare for successful futures.

Sam Milano

A globally-minded, NYC-hearted transfer student, Sam is a nontraditional senior, double-majoring in International Justice and Paralegal Studies, in addition to her job as an ESL teacher. Post-graduation, Sam plans to attend law school and eventually work for the United Nations Security Council. Her hobbies include reading, writing, singing, learning new languages and collecting maps. Sam’s ultimate goal is to one day run the world.

Elizabeth Lagrotteria

Working on her bachelor’s in Bio-Education with a Leadership minor, Elizabeth is a half-Italian, half-Japanese senior who loves to meet new people. She plans on becoming a science teacher, and eventually a Naturopathic Doctor; both of those careers fuse her two passions of helping people and nature.

Amy Timmerman

With three years of working in the Center for Leadership Development under her belt, Amy is currently a senior pursuing her BA in Dance with a Studio Teaching concentration and Business Administration minor. She hopes to one day open her own dance studio and provide classes for children with special needs. She loves working with everyone in the CLD office.

Jules Shortino

A senior here at Montclair State University, Jules is majoring in Family and Child Studies with minors in Psychology and Leadership. She is also obtaining a certificate in Child Advocacy. Her hope is to go on to graduate school and get a master’s in School Counseling. She looks forward to working at the Center for Leadership Development this year!

Sara Iorillo

A Sigma Sigma Sigma sister, Sara is majoring in Family and Child Studies with a Concentration in Family Services, with a Psychology Minor and working on a Child Advocacy Certificate. After graduating this spring, she plans on attending graduate school for School Counseling. She loves to meet new people.

Mar Tutunjian

Mar is a senior Psychology major with a minor in Leadership Development through Civic Engagement. Post-graduation, she plans to pursue her master’s in Marketing. In addition to her role as Communications Director on the E-Board, Mar is also interning at the Center for Leadership Development. Her hobbies include art and photography.
