Red Hawk Day
Red Hawk Day marks the beginning of a new school year where the entire campus community comes together to celebrate the pride of being a Red Hawk! This is a day you do NOT want to miss.
Homecoming
This day filled with fun, food and football includes current students, alumni, families, friends, faculty and staff! From student performances to food, athletic events and lots of Red Hawk Pride, this is one of those days you can’t miss.
Rocky the Red Hawk
As the school mascot, Rocky plays a big role inspiring and spreading Red Hawk Pride. Not only does he attend large events like Homecoming and Commencement, he also shows up to smaller programs throughout the year, too!
Red Hawk Statue
Our beautiful, 12-foot-high, bronze Red Hawk statue was installed on campus in 2015 and has since brought new traditions to campus. It’s the perfect place to take your first picture on campus when you get accepted and your last as a student when you graduate. Don’t forget to rub the beak for good luck during finals and on game days.
On Fridays We Wear Red!
All students who wear any piece of Montclair State gear on Fridays (red preferred) during the regular semester get a 10% discount at the bookstore on regularly priced items!
