Earn your degree\"\/><\/figure>\n<p><em>Poster Credit: The University of Windsor \u2013 Academic Integrity Office<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"prpl-column two-thirds\">\n<p>While plagiarism may be &#8220;an ancient art&#8221; (as Stephen Moss put it in a 2005 <em><a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"http:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/books\/2005\/nov\/23\/comment.stephenmoss\" target=\"_blank\">article in The Guardian<\/a><\/em>), the advent of the internet ushered in many new and frighteningly easy ways for students to plagiarize papers, from purchasing papers from online clearinghouses to pasting together bits and pieces of information (unquoted and uncited) from a variety of internet sources.
