{"id":15431,"date":"2015-11-05T16:07:40","date_gmt":"2015-11-05T21:07:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/news\/article.php?ArticleID=15431"},"modified":"2021-03-19T12:09:28","modified_gmt":"2021-03-19T16:09:28","slug":"15431_open-nj-scholarship-program-department-of-chemistry-and-biochemistry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/chemistry-biochemistry\/2015\/11\/05\/15431_open-nj-scholarship-program-department-of-chemistry-and-biochemistry\/","title":{"rendered":"OPEN-NJ Scholarship Program Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Eligible programs<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Masters in Pharmaceutical Biochemistry<\/li>\n<li>Masters in Chemistry<\/li>\n<li>Masters in Chemistry with a Concentration in Biochemistry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<p>This program is open for the following majors: Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, Environmental Sciences, and related degrees (B.A. or B.S.).<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Requirements for Program<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum overall 3.0 GPA (B.S. or B.A. degree in any field)<\/li>\n<li>Completed General Chemistry I (with lab), General Chemistry II (with lab), Organic Chemistry I (with lab), Organic Chemistry II, Calculus I and a year of Physics<\/li>\n<li>US citizen, national, admitted refugee or permanent resident<\/li>\n<li>Enrolling full time in an MSU Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry M.S. program<\/li>\n<li>Financial aid eligible as determined by the Office of Financial Aid. \u00a0Student Financial Aid forms will need to be completed before selection is complete.<\/li>\n<li>Committed to participating in all OPEN-NJ meetings including networking, academic support, and career development events.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h2>Apply<\/h2>\n<p>Apply to the <a href=\"\/graduate\/\">Graduate Program at Montclair State University<\/a> <strong><em>AND<\/em><\/strong> email Dr. Nina Goodey, <a href=\"mailto:goodeyn@montclair.edu\">goodeyn@montclair.edu<\/a>\u00a0to indicate interest in the OPEN-NJ Scholarship Program.
