The Center for the Digital Humanities is hosting the 2018 Spring Digital Humanities Day.<\/span><\/p>\n

The day\u2019s events will include presentations from CHSS faculty, productive discussions about Digital Humanities, and open Lab sessions<\/span><\/p>\n

With 817 different definitions of digital humanities at <\/span>https:\/\/whatisdigitalhumanities.com\/<\/span>, this growing field of interest has sparked both interest and controversy. \u00a0This moderated conversation will briefly review how we got where we are today with the Digital Humanities and show examples of digital humanities projects. There will also be time for Q&A.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

This guided conversation will include a brief introduction to what geographic information systems are, review of a few of the more popular applications, and leave plenty of time for Q&A.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
