{"id":989,"date":"2016-06-27T14:22:03","date_gmt":"2016-06-27T18:22:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/chss-digital-media-colab\/?p=989"},"modified":"2019-04-16T12:50:19","modified_gmt":"2019-04-16T16:50:19","slug":"emerging-learning-design-is-looking-for-reviewers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/chss-digital-media-colab\/2016\/06\/27\/emerging-learning-design-is-looking-for-reviewers\/","title":{"rendered":"Emerging Learning Design is looking for reviewers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Emerging Learning Design Journal (ELDj) and the 7th Annual Emerging Learning Design Conference (ELDc17) are looking for reviews for articles and proposals, respectively.<\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>The ELDj is currently collecting proceedings articles from the 6th Annual Emerging Learning Design conference, which took place on June 2 &amp; 3. \u00a0Review of submissions will begin in early August. \u00a0The expected publication of the proceedings issue is January, 2017.<\/li>\n<li>ELDj has also announced its first\u00a0<strong>Special Issue<\/strong>. \u00a0A call for submissions will be going out shortly but the theme of ELDj\u2019s first Special Issue will be\u00a0<strong>Digital Humanities<\/strong>. \u00a0Submissions for this Special Issue will be due in late fall and the publication date will be June 2nd, 2017.<\/li>\n<li>ELDc17 is looking for reviewers for session proposals for our Annual Conference, which will take place on June 1st and 2nd, 2017. \u00a0Details on theme and the call for submissions will be coming out later this summer. \u00a0Review will begin in late fall, 2016.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>The review process is simple and straight-forward and takes place entire online. \u00a0The process is blind, so being a reviewer does not preclude submitting.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Reviewers are asked to consider a very limited number of submissions, in order to help reduce the work load and time commitment. \u00a0The only thing we ask in return is that reviewers agree to respond within approximately 2 weeks.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Those interested in reviewing for the ELDj, ELDc17, or both, are asked to complete\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/chssmontclair.co1.qualtrics.com\/jfe\/form\/SV_4NkJ4v2GP06vPz7\">this short online form<\/a>.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>If you have any questions on the review process for either ELDj or ELDc17, please do not hesitate to contact me at <a href=\"mailto:keltona@montclair.edu\">keltona@montclair.edu<\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Emerging Learning Design Journal (ELDj) and the 7th Annual Emerging Learning Design Conference (ELDc17) are looking for reviews for articles and proposals, respectively.
