Kyle Carter got a job at Finance and Treasury at MSU.

Jessica Covert has accepted an offer to U Mass Boston’s MA program in rhetoric and composition. 

Lee Davis got a job as a writer/editor at BLI.

Shakeema Edwards has been accepted to Rutgers English Diversity Institute 

Luisa Frey accepted a teaching position in English Language Arts at the Community Charter School of Paterson.

Colleen Georges received full funding for NYU’s M.A. program in English.

Chelsea Perrotty works for Perez Hilton.

Emily Regan is the Montclair State nominee for the New Jersey Department of Education Distinguished Student Teacher Award, 2015.

Samantha Stiner won the New Jersey Department of Education Distinguished Student Teacher Award, 2014.

Daniel Guerra was accepted to Teach For America as a member of the 2015 New Jersey corps. He will teach English.

Rich Perrota is planning to go to Southeast Asia to teach English.

Danielle Pollaro will pursue an MA in Literature at Seton Hall on scholarship.

Ebony Potts received job offers for English positions from four high schools.

Doron Bryant will attend Mansfield University’s Masters program in Organizational Leadership, and earned a Graduate Assistantship in the Office of Campus Life.

Megan Huxford, a graduating senior who is a co op student at Oxford University Press, has just accepted a full time position there as an editorial assistant.

English major Lee Davis moved from part-time to full-time employee at Buyers Lab Inc. after graduating in May. “As research editor, I establish and maintain relationships with software vendors who update me on their products. With that information, I create editorial content such as blog posts and feature articles,” Davis explains. “Montclair State sharpened my writing and research skills. Without the advice and criticism from my professors, I wouldn’t be the writer I am today.” 

English major Doron Bryant will attend Mansfield University in Mansfield, Pennsylvania, in the fall to study for a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership. “I’ve been offered a graduate assistantship in the office of student transition, where I’ll organize freshman and transfer orientation and plan workshop programs for students throughout the year,” he says.
