Boren Awards Scholarship

For U.S. students to study in Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East. Focus on National Security interest.

Up to $20,000 for an academic year's study abroad.

Applications for 2017-2018 must be submitted by 5 pm EST on February 9, 2017

Freeman - Asia Freeman Awards for Study in Asia (Freeman-ASIA) provides scholarships for U.S. undergraduate students with demonstrated financial need to study abroad in East or Southeast Asia. March 1st for Summer 2018.
Must be submitted by 5 PM EST.

Fulbright US Student Program AFTER Graduation for Research/Study or English Teaching Assistant. - Intent to apply by August 1, 2017

Fulbright US Summer Student Program The US-UK Fulbright Commission offers special Summer Institutes for US citizens to come to the UK.  These summer programmes provide the opportunity for US undergraduates (aged over 18), with at least two years of undergraduate study left to complete, to come to the UK on a three or four week academic and cultural summer programme.  February 23rd, 2017
Confucius China In order to support development of Confucius Institutes, facilitate Chinese language promotion and Chinese cultural transmission in the world, cultivate qualified Chinese language teachers and talented students of Chinese language, Confucius Institute Headquarters Hanban launches the “Confucius Institute Scholarships” program for providing sponsorship to students, scholars and Chinese language teachers of other countries for pursuing a study in relevant universities in China (hereinafter referred to as “host institutions”). Globale3.org Global E3: The Global Engineering Education Exchange Program.Recognizing a growing demand for internationally-experienced engineering graduates, a group of leading universities around the world established the Global E3 in 1995. Global E3 allows engineering students at member universities to enjoy a fulfilling study abroad experience. On-campus deadlines for students will be earlier. Whitaker The Whitaker International Program sends emerging leaders in U.S. biomedical engineering (or bioengineering) overseas to undertake a self-designed project that will enhance their careers within the field.  The goal of the program is to assist the development of professional leaders who are not only superb scientists, but who also will advance the profession through an international outlook. Along with supporting grant projects in an academic setting, the Whitaker International Program encourages grantees to engage in policy work and propose projects in an industry setting.
