Montclair State University celebrated Indigenous Peoples Day on October 10 with a special on-campus event that not only highlighted thriving Indigenous cultures, but also showcased the institution\u2019s commitment to creating hands-on learning opportunities that make a difference in the world.<\/p>\n

Montclair welcomed the Red Blanket Singers of the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape Tribe of New Jersey for a special performance as part of the early evening event, which also served as the formal unveiling of the University\u2019s new Native American and Indigenous Studies minor<\/a> and Montclair\u2019s formal Land Acknowledgement.<\/p>\n
