You can now save money, reduce energy use and protect the environment at the same time. New Jersey\u2019s Clean Energy Program has been actively working with manufacturers and retailers in the Garden State to increase the availability of energy efficient products. Rebates can be applied for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Clothes Washers<\/li>\n<li>Clothes Dryers<\/li>\n<li>Refrigerators<\/li>\n<li>Refrigerator\/Freezer Recycling<\/li>\n<li>Energy Efficient Lighting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Note: Rebates range from $50-$300, depending on the products.<\/p>\n<h2><a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.njcleanenergy.com\/recycling\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Appliance<\/strong> Recycling<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>Get an incentive for approximately 95% of your old appliances. Amazed? The Appliance Recycling Program responsibly recycles your appliances for free and provides monetary incentive for each unit recycled.<\/p>\n<h2><a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/njcleanenergy.com\/residential\/programs\/nj-energy-star-homes\/construction-upgrades\/construction-upgrades\" target=\"_blank\">Construction Upgrades<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>You can upgrade your home to a more tightly constructed home that results in energy savings and increased year-round comfort. The options to upgrade include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High-efficiency heating and cooling systems<\/li>\n<li>High-efficiency water heating systems<\/li>\n<li>Higher insulation levels<\/li>\n<li>High-performance low-E windows<\/li>\n<li>Tightly sealed ductwork<\/li>\n<li>Reduced air filtration<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The COOLADVANTAGE and WARMADVANTAGE programs are rebate programs run through the state of New Jersey that provide incentives for high-efficiency cooling and heating systems, respectively. In order to qualify, residents must purchase an approved system, as well as install and operate it using best practices.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.njcleanenergy.com\/residential\/programs\/cooladvantage\" target=\"_blank\">COOLADVANTAGE<\/a> provides rebates for supported air conditioning and heat pump systems.<\/li>\n<li><a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.njcleanenergy.com\/residential\/programs\/warmadvantage\" target=\"_blank\">WARMADVANTAGE<\/a> provides rebates for supported furnaces, boilers and water heaters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Rebates range from $300-$950, depending on the system.<\/p>\n<h2><a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.njcleanenergy.com\/residential\/cp\" target=\"_blank\">Comfort Partners<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>New Jersey Comfort Partners is a program available through the state for qualifying low income residents. Eligible families are entitled to free services through this program, including an installation of energy saving fixtures in the residence and educational outreach.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Available to residents at or below 225% of federal poverty guidelines.<\/li>\n<li>Program is available at no cost to qualifying households<\/li>\n<li>Installations are home specific, and can include efficient lighting fixtures, hot water conservation measures, insulation, heating\/cooling maintenance, and replacement of inefficient appliances, among others.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.njcleanenergy.com\/residential\/programs\/home-performance-energy-star\/home-performance-energy-star-r\" target=\"_blank\">ENERGY STAR Home Improvements<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>The ENERGY STAR program offers incentives for residents to improve the energy efficiency of their home. Monetary and financing incentives are available for residents seeking upgrades to their energy fixtures. This program uses contractors through the program to assess the resident\u2019s home and recommend upgrades to save energy and money over time.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Installing energy efficient upgrades can save up to 30% on an energy bill.<\/li>\n<li>Upgrades can also improve health by eliminating common problems with air quality.<\/li>\n<li>Technicians will perform a full evaluation of the home and recommend improvements based on individual needs.<\/li>\n<li>Currently, incentives of up to $4000 and 0% financing are available to applicants who qualify.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.njcleanenergy.com\/residential\/programs\/residential-new-construction\" target=\"_blank\">Residential New Construction<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>Residents who are planning to build a new home can benefit and reduce their energy cost every year by building energy efficient homes. In addition to the monetary savings due to efficiency, incentives for these new houses are currently offered by the state of New Jersey.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Residential and high rise buildings up to six stories are eligible for the program.<\/li>\n<li>Compliance with NJ\u2019s Energy Rating Index (ERI) qualifies a home for $750 flat-rate incentives.<\/li>\n<li>Additional incentives ($625-$24,250) are available via complying with ENERGY STAR and Zero Energy guidelines on a sliding scale.<\/li>\n<li><a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.njcleanenergy.com\/files\/file\/Residential%20Programs\/NJ%20ENERGY%20STAR%20Homes\/FY2018\/Program_Guide_FY2018_RNCrev_Final.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Residential New Construction Program Guide<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New Jersey&#8217;s Clean Energy Program is a statewide program that offers financial incentives, programs and services for residents, business owners and local governments to help them save energy, money and the environment.
