The Board has global representation from many areas, including\u00a0 business, foundations, academia, and nongovernmental organizations.<\/p>\n<div class=\"prpl-row\"><div class=\"prpl-column two-thirds\">\n<h2>Bob Gordon<\/h2>\n<p>Vice President, Stevens &amp; Lee Public Affairs<\/p>\n<div class=\"prpl-drawer\"><div class=\"prpl-drawer-header\">Read Bob Gordon&apos;s Bio<\/div><div class=\"prpl-drawer-content\">\n<p>Bob Gordon\u2019s career has spanned the public and private sectors. He served for 14 years in the New Jersey Legislature and served as Majority Conference Leader in the state senate. In 2018, he was appointed to the NJ Board of Public Utilities. During his term as a Commissioner, he was involved in all major agency initiatives, including electrification of the transportation sector, upgrading utility infrastructure, and integrating new sources of energy into the grid. He also served four years as a Board Member of N.J. Transit. Before joining the Legislature, he spent ten years as Mayor and Council Member of the Borough of Fair Lawn and worked in Washington, serving on the staff of the Brookings Institution and Congressional Budget Office.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Gordon has worked for major international management consulting firms where he led engagements throughout the US and Europe focused on business strategy, competitive analyses, acquisition studies and hospital operations. Bator<\/h2>\n<p>Commissioner Emeritus NJ Board of Public Utilities and NJ Highway Authority, Of Counsel Pearlman &amp; Miranda LLC<\/p>\n<div class=\"prpl-drawer\"><div class=\"prpl-drawer-header\">Read Christine V&period; Bator&apos;s Bio<\/div><div class=\"prpl-drawer-content\">\n<p>Christine\u2019s practice focuses on Corporate and Regulated Entities including energy, water, health and other critical infrastructure industries. She was appointed Chair of the District VII Fee Arbitration Committee by the New Jersey Supreme Court for two 4-year terms. Ms. Bator served in the administration of five New Jersey Governors as a Commissioner of the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, New Jersey Highway Authority, the New Jersey Turnpike Authority and in-house counsel to the Commissioner of Health. As a Commissioner of the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, Ms. Bator was responsible for regulating the Energy industry in New Jersey. She was a member of the National Association of Regulatory Commissioners Gas and Critical Infrastructure Committees, as well as a member of the advisory committee of the Gas Technology Institute, a non-profit organization that developed new technology for the natural gas industry.<\/p>\n<p>In her role as a Commissioner of the $2 billion New Jersey Highway Authority, which owned and operated the Garden State Parkway, Ms. Bator chaired the audit and finance committees, created the authority\u2019s first audit committee charter, worked to accomplish the Authority\u2019s merger with the New Jersey Turnpike Authority and the privatization of the Garden State Arts Center.\u00a0 At the New Jersey Department of Health, Ms. Bator served as the Director of the Office of Legal Affairs and oversaw the regulatory and administrative process for the agency. As a past President of Executive Women of New Jersey, Ms. Bator created its first program dedicated to increasing the number of women on corporate boards. Ms. Bator was also on the board of the New Jersey Women\u2019s Political Caucus and task force chair for the National Women\u2019s Political Caucus. He is presently Managing Partner at Princeton Capital Advisors, an investment banking firm, and Chairman of Ironmont Hydro, Ltd, a Singapore-based renewable energy investment company.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, Abhay was Managing Director at American Capital Energy and Infrastructure (ACEI), where he established and oversaw the firm\u2019s operations in Asia, and was a member of the ACEI investment committee. She serves as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives across Fortune 100 companies, leading universities, early-stage startups, and mission-driven non-profits\u2014offering insight on strategy, leadership, and capital market positioning.<\/p>\n<p>Greta brings her expertise to multiple board roles, including the Museum of Science in Boston, the Charles River Watershed Association, and Multiplying Good. She holds a Ph.D. in Law and Public Policy, an M.A. in Political Science and International Relations, and undergraduate and formal graduate training in Business and Strategy.<\/p>\n<p>Outside of her professional life, Greta stays grounded through her lifelong connection to nature, animals, and adventure. In this role, she oversees customer experience related to energy efficiency, electric vehicles, and solar energy programs.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to this, she served as Managing Director of Transmission and Substation Construction and Maintenance, managing over $1 billion annually in electric transmission and distribution projects and maintaining the company\u2019s transmission system and substations. Lauren has held a variety of leadership roles at PSEG since joining in 2008, including project director for substation projects and head of the Transformation and Centralized Services department, responsible for technical training, transportation, materials and logistics, and organizational culture.<\/p>\n<p>Before PSEG, Lauren worked for seven years at BASF in operations, process engineering, project management, and process optimization.<br \/>\nLauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA in Operations and Strategy from the University of Michigan. Prior to joining Capital One, Aparna held multiple senior leadership and management roles at American Express. During her 14 year tenure at AmEx, Aparna delivered long-term profitable growth designing advanced credit strategies, building industry leading models and championing customer voice, for growing and at-scale global portfolios. The goal of this position is to enhance WCS Africa\u2019s influence and impact in international and regional policy fora, and to capitalize upon bilateral and multilateral funding opportunities such as GCF and GEF. Prior to this position, Michel worked for WWF International from 2017 to 2020 as Deputy Wildlife Practice Leader and Innovation Lead for Africa, working primarily on the strategic design, implementation and evaluation of WWF\u2019s wildlife conservation portfolio across the African continent.<\/p>\n<p>He has over 25 years of experience working at the intersection of climate change, biodiversity conservation and sustainable development in Africa. He has worked in public policy, governance, and innovation systems. He has significantly contributed to improving public service delivery using technology, designing national-level governance and innovation frameworks, and enabling private sector development at the state, national, and international levels.<\/p>\n<p>As the Secretary to the Capacity Building Commission of India, Hemang designed India&#8217;s National Civil Service Capacity Building framework, which aimed to cover 3 million civil servants in the federal government and 22 states of India. He also designed and piloted multiple programs and interventions to create and improve the civil service capacity-building eco-system. Scott also worked as the Corporate Controller for GoDigital Media Group from April 2021 to June 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Scott Moskowitz earned a BBA degree in Accounting &amp; Finance from the Texas McCombs School of Business, completing their studies from 2002 to 2006. He is a senior researcher specializing in economic policy analysis through computable general equilibrium (CGE) models.<\/p>\n<p>He has over 25 years of experience conducting research and providing consultancy for international organizations such as the World Bank, UNDP, FAO, ECLAC, AfDB, IDB, among others. His work focuses on the intersection of economic development, environmental sustainability, and poverty reduction, where he has led numerous projects in Latin America,\u00a0Africa, and Asia.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Cicowiez has played a central role in developing integrated\u00a0economic-environmental modeling frameworks, including applications\u00a0that assess the tradeoffs between economic growth and environmental\u00a0sustainability. His contributions to these fields include modeling\u00a0strategies to achieve the Millenium Development Goals (MDGs) and the\u00a0Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and advising governments on\u00a0transitioning to low-carbon economies. He has a particular focus on natural\u00a0capital and ecosystem services, providing in-depth analysis of their\u00a0socioeconomic implications.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Martin Cicowiez is a prolific scholar with over 250 publications to\u00a0his name, including books, book chapters, and peer-reviewed journal\u00a0articles. Drawing on the experience he gained both working for elected officials and during a six-year term with the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (BPU), Murray has designed and effectively implemented countless government affairs strategies for clients seeking to change existing laws or regulations, obtain state or federal funding, or achieve other business objectives.<\/p>\n<p>As a registered New Jersey governmental affairs agent (lobbyist), Murray successfully advocates for clients before the BPU, obtaining favorable rulings on regulatory and compliance matters and achieving approval for changes in\u00a0ownership and control for BPU-regulated industries. He has received the prestigious CAREER Award from National Science Foundation and also served as advisory board member for Rockefeller Foundation\u2019s initiative on \u201cValuing the Resilience Dividend\u201d. A a trusted expert, he served as a reviewer for the National Academies\u2019 Fourth National Climate Assessment under the U.S. Global Change Research Program.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Lal has conducted original and applied research in the areas of energy and environmental economics and policy, global climate change, economic and energy modeling, industrial ecology, sustainable development, natural capital accounting,\u00a0and participatory resource conservation and management. He earned\u00a0his doctorate from the University of Florida. From 2014-2017, she served as a program director in the Division of Mathematical Sciences at the National Science Foundation.
