Vice President, Stevens & Lee Public Affairs<\/p>\n

Bob Gordon\u2019s career has spanned the public and private sectors. He served for 14 years in the New Jersey Legislature and served as Majority Conference Leader in the state senate. In 2018, he was appointed to the NJ Board of Public Utilities. During his term as a Commissioner, he was involved in all major agency initiatives, including electrification of the transportation sector, upgrading utility infrastructure, and integrating new sources of energy into the grid. He also served four years as a Board Member of N.J. Transit. Before joining the Legislature, he spent ten years as Mayor and Council Member of the Borough of Fair Lawn and worked in Washington, serving on the staff of the Brookings Institution and Congressional Budget Office.<\/p>\n

Mr. Gordon has worked for major international management consulting firms where he led engagements throughout the US and Europe focused on business strategy, competitive analyses, acquisition studies and hospital operations. He co-founded an emergency management consulting firm and managed his family\u2019s textile factory.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Christine\u2019s practice focuses on Corporate and Regulated Entities including energy, water, health and other critical infrastructure industries. She was appointed Chair of the District VII Fee Arbitration Committee by the New Jersey Supreme Court for two 4-year terms. Ms. Bator served in the administration of five New Jersey Governors as a Commissioner of the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, New Jersey Highway Authority, the New Jersey Turnpike Authority and in-house counsel to the Commissioner of Health. As a Commissioner of the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, Ms. Bator was responsible for regulating the Energy industry in New Jersey. She was a member of the National Association of Regulatory Commissioners Gas and Critical Infrastructure Committees, as well as a member of the advisory committee of the Gas Technology Institute, a non-profit organization that developed new technology for the natural gas industry.<\/p>\n

In her role as a Commissioner of the $2 billion New Jersey Highway Authority, which owned and operated the Garden State Parkway, Ms. Bator chaired the audit and finance committees, created the authority\u2019s first audit committee charter, worked to accomplish the Authority\u2019s merger with the New Jersey Turnpike Authority and the privatization of the Garden State Arts Center.\u00a0 At the New Jersey Department of Health, Ms. Bator served as the Director of the Office of Legal Affairs and oversaw the regulatory and administrative process for the agency. As a past President of Executive Women of New Jersey, Ms. Bator created its first program dedicated to increasing the number of women on corporate boards. Ms. Bator was also on the board of the New Jersey Women\u2019s Political Caucus and task force chair for the National Women\u2019s Political Caucus. She was elected to two terms as a NJ Republican State Committeewoman.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Abhay has over 32 years\u2019 senior experience in private equity, investment banking, and strategy consulting. He is presently Managing Partner at Princeton Capital Advisors, an investment banking firm, and Chairman of Ironmont Hydro, Ltd, a Singapore-based renewable energy investment company.<\/p>\n

Previously, Abhay was Managing Director at American Capital Energy and Infrastructure (ACEI), where he established and oversaw the firm\u2019s operations in Asia, and was a member of the ACEI investment committee. He also spent 16 years at Citigroup investment banking as Managing Director in their US energy group, co-head of Asian energy, power and chemicals, and head of ASEAN industrials.<\/p>\n

Mr. Pande has an AB in economics from Dartmouth College,\u00a0and an MBA with high honors in finance and strategy from the\u00a0Booth School at the University of Chicago.\u00a0 He is based in the\u00a0New York City area.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

An accomplished entrepreneur, Greta has founded multiple technology companies and a venture firm focused on impact-driven innovation and strategic growth. She serves as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives across Fortune 100 companies, leading universities, early-stage startups, and mission-driven non-profits\u2014offering insight on strategy, leadership, and capital market positioning.<\/p>\n

Greta brings her expertise to multiple board roles, including the Museum of Science in Boston, the Charles River Watershed Association, and Multiplying Good. Lauren Thomas is Vice President of Clean Energy Solutions \u2013 Customer Solutions at PSE&G, effective January 2025. In this role, she oversees customer experience related to energy efficiency, electric vehicles, and solar energy programs.<\/p>\n

Prior to this, she served as Managing Director of Transmission and Substation Construction and Maintenance, managing over $1 billion annually in electric transmission and distribution projects and maintaining the company\u2019s transmission system and substations. Lauren has held a variety of leadership roles at PSEG since joining in 2008, including project director for substation projects and head of the Transformation and Centralized Services department, responsible for technical training, transportation, materials and logistics, and organizational culture.<\/p>\n

Before PSEG, Lauren worked for seven years at BASF in operations, process engineering, project management, and process optimization.
\nLauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA in Operations and Strategy from the University of Michigan. She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Dr. Michel Masozera is currently the Director of Policy and Partnerships for Africa at the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS). The goal of this position is to enhance WCS Africa\u2019s influence and impact in international and regional policy fora, and to capitalize upon bilateral and multilateral funding opportunities such as GCF and GEF. Prior to this position, Michel worked for WWF International from 2017 to 2020 as Deputy Wildlife Practice Leader and Innovation Lead for Africa, working primarily on the strategic design, implementation and evaluation of WWF\u2019s wildlife conservation portfolio across the African continent.<\/p>\n

He has over 25 years of experience working at the intersection of climate change, biodiversity conservation and sustainable development in Africa. He is a specialist in wildlife ecology and\u00a0conservation, community-based natural resource management, program design and project management, protected area\u00a0governance, and sustainable tourism development.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

With over two decades of experience at national and international levels, Mr. Jani is a seasoned public policy professional. He has worked in public policy, governance, and innovation systems. He has significantly contributed to improving public service delivery using technology, designing national-level governance and innovation frameworks, and enabling private sector development at the state, national, and international levels.<\/p>\n

As the Secretary to the Capacity Building Commission of India, Hemang designed India’s National Civil Service Capacity Building framework, which aimed to cover 3 million civil servants in the federal government and 22 states of India. He also designed and piloted multiple programs and interventions to create and improve the civil service capacity-building eco-system. Additionally, he crafted and implemented National Standards for Civil Service Training Institutions (NSCSTI) and developed a material Capacity Building Plan approach and methodology for the Government of India.<\/p>\n

During his tenure as an Officer on Special Duty (Knowledge and Innovation) in the Prime Minister\u2019s office, Government of India, Hemang designed and nurtured the Atal Innovation Mission, a nationwide innovation agency fostering innovation and entrepreneurship eco-system in India.<\/p>\n

Hemang has also worked as a Senior Private Sector Specialist at the World Bank Headquarters in Washington DC, USA, where he focused on innovation and entrepreneurship programs in South Asia.<\/p>\n

Scott also worked as the Corporate Controller for GoDigital Media Group from April 2021 to June 2022.<\/p>\n

Dr. Martin Cicowiez is Professor at Universidad Nacional de La Plata in Argentina and Senior Researcher at the University\u2019s Center for Distributional, Labor and Social Studies (CEDLAS). He is a senior researcher specializing in economic policy analysis through computable general equilibrium (CGE) models.<\/p>\n

He has over 25 years of experience conducting research and providing consultancy for international organizations such as the World Bank, UNDP, FAO, ECLAC, AfDB, IDB, among others. His work focuses on the intersection of economic development, environmental sustainability, and poverty reduction, where he has led numerous projects in Latin America,\u00a0Africa, and Asia.<\/p>\n

Dr. Cicowiez has played a central role in developing integrated\u00a0economic-environmental modeling frameworks, including applications\u00a0that assess the tradeoffs between economic growth and environmental\u00a0sustainability. His contributions to these fields include modeling\u00a0strategies to achieve the Millenium Development Goals (MDGs) and the\u00a0Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and advising governments on\u00a0transitioning to low-carbon economies. He has a particular focus on natural\u00a0capital and ecosystem services, providing in-depth analysis of their\u00a0socioeconomic implications.<\/p>\n

Dr. Martin Cicowiez is a prolific scholar with over 250 publications to\u00a0his name, including books, book chapters, and peer-reviewed journal\u00a0articles. Vivienne recently deepened her expertise in sustainability leadership through the Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) Program at MIT, where she focused on ESG-driven innovation and sustainable business strategy. She also holds a General Management Certificate of Achievement (GMCA) from Cambridge Judge Business School, where her research focused on methodologies to evaluate and quantify the impact of ESG on corporate performance and operations.<\/p>\n

Throughout her career, Vivienne has led the evaluation and development of large-scale solar PV projects across Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, South America, and Europe. She has developed\u00a0advanced financial models and valuation tools to support high-level\u00a0strategic decision-making, including at the board level. Pankaj Lal, PhD, is the founding director of Montclair State University\u2019s Clean Energy and Sustainability Analytics Center (CESAC), and Professor Energy, Economics, and Sustainability. Dr. Lal was awarded the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers by President Obama, an award that embodies the high priority placed by the government on maintaining the leadership position of the United States in science by producing outstanding scientists and engineers. He has received the prestigious CAREER Award from National Science Foundation and also served as advisory board member for Rockefeller Foundation\u2019s initiative on \u201cValuing the Resilience Dividend\u201d. A a trusted expert, he served as a reviewer for the National Academies\u2019 Fourth National Climate Assessment under the U.S. Global Change Research Program.<\/p>\n

Professor Lal has conducted original and applied research in the areas of energy and environmental economics and policy, global climate change, economic and energy modeling, industrial ecology, sustainable development, natural capital accounting,\u00a0and participatory resource conservation and management. He earned\u00a0his doctorate from the University of Florida. Prior to his PhD, he\u00a0worked with Winrock International India and PricewaterhouseCoopers\u00a0India in the government reforms and infrastructure development practice.<\/p>\n

He is 2019 Lead NJ Fellow and has long standing research support and\u00a0engagement in practice with multilateral institutions and received more than\u00a0$22 million in grants and contracts for his research as PI or co-PI,\u00a0including funding from international institutions, federal and state agencies,\u00a0foundations, and industry. He has published more than 110 scholarly articles\u00a0in peer-reviewed journals, technical reports and book chapters.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Dr. Lora Billings is Dean of the College of Science and Mathematics. She is an applied mathematician with specialization in the analysis of dynamical systems and chaos theory.<\/p>\n

She is a full professor and currently the editor-in-chief of the SIAM Journal on Applied Dynamical Systems. From 2014-2017, she served as a program director in the Division of Mathematical Sciences at the National Science Foundation. In 2018, she was appointed Dean of the College, the first woman to hold that position. Dr. Billings strives to create a community of support and mentoring to increase a sense of belonging and student success.<\/p>\n

She received the Association for Women in Science Mentoring Zenith Award in 2024. Dr. Billings holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Applied Mathematics from the University\u00a0of Colorado, Boulder and a B.S. in Mathematics from Lafayette\u00a0College. She was awarded the Montclair State Distinguished Research\u00a0Award in 2008.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Dr. Upendra Chivukula serves as senior advisor at CESAC and is a New Jersey Board of Public Utilities Commissioner Emeritus. He earned bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s degrees in electrical engineering and a doctorate of business administration. He was nominated to the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities in 2014, where he served as a commissioner for 8 years.<\/p>\n

Dr. Chivukula served in the General Assembly for 12 years and was Deputy Speaker from 2007 to 2014. He served as chair of the Telecommunications and Utilities Committee and as Vice Chair of Homeland Security and State Preparedness, Commerce and Economic Development, and Environment and Solid Waste. In the Assembly, he advocated for clean energy, including promoting offshore wind and supporting solar development. He was a Franklin Township council member and mayor and has served on numerous township and county boards and committees.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Sheri Hinish is a globally recognized executive and board advisor helping organizations lead at the intersection of innovation, sustainability, AI, and resilient supply chains. Known as the ‘Supply Chain Queen,’ she has led global sustainability consulting practices and ecosystem strategy at both EY and IBM\u2014scaling solutions in ESG data, climate analytics, sustainable infrastructure, and responsible technology.<\/p>\n

At EY, Sheri served as Global Consulting Leader for Sustainability Solutions, Technology, and Ecosystems, where she built market-leading offerings across decarbonization, ESG integration, and climate-aligned digital transformation. She also led EY\u2019s global sustainability alliances and go-to-market investments with partners such as Microsoft and SAP. Prior to EY, she built and led IBM\u2019s global sustainability services business, launching offerings in green IT, circular innovation, sustainable finance, and AI-powered operations.<\/p>\n

Sheri advises Fortune 500 companies, multilateral institutions, and governments on embedding sustainability into enterprise strategy. She has represented EY and IBM at global forums including COP, WBCSD, and AI for Good, and is the host of the award-winning Supply Chain Revolution podcast. She was recently recognized as one of the Top 250 Leaders in Sustainability and a 2025 \u2018Leader in Excellence\u2019 by Supply and Demand Chain Executive.<\/p>\n

Sheri holds graduate degrees from Harvard (Sustainability), Rutgers (Supply Chain), and a Bachelor of Science from Maryland (Business), and is an advocate for equity in STEM, sustainable innovation, and regenerative development.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
