Byron Pitts, multiple Emmy Award-winning journalist who\u2019s currently chief national correspondent for <em>CBS News with Katie Couric<\/em> and contributing correspondent to <em>60 Minutes<\/em>, will receive an honorary Doctor of Letters degree.
