The two day symposium included several cutting-edge presentations from leading researchers in the field focusing on how quality of life is impacted by stuttering and societal influences. Dr. Boyle\u2019s presentation, titled \u201cPublic stigma and stuttering: Improving attitudes through advocacy,\u201d was well received by attendees including researchers, speech-language pathologists, advocates, and persons who stutter.
