New Programs for Fall 2018

The BS in Data Science provides a comprehensive understanding of Data Science principles, and Data Science systems development. Students will be given training to apply problem solving skills, core Data Science concepts and techniques, best practices and standards to create and evaluate Data Science systems and conduct Data Science investigations. Students will be given the opportunity to further concentrate on advanced Data Science topics of their choosing and to integrate their studies with concentrations in Biology or Chemistry.

The Certificate in Computing Technology allows students who are showing a significant interest in computing to gain the basic skills in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology. It teaches the fundamentals of computer software programming and computer hardware and also covers discrete mathematics and data structures and algorithms.
