Excel for Business Analytics

This two session workshop provides an introduction to Excel VBA for reporting and database analysis. Students will learn to use the advanced features of Excel to perform useful analysis of data in a spreadsheet. Python for Business Analytics

This two session workshop provides an introduction to Python for data analysis. Students will learn how to use Python as a tool for data analysis starting with the basics. They will download and install Python 2.7 (or later), learn to navigate using the command line, select an integrated development environment (IDE) and text editor, and begin to write basic scripts. They will also learn about Python’s powerful libraries for data analysis and scientific computing, as well as getting introduced to GitHub, a common industry tool for collaboration and version-control in software development.
