Managing Moods and Relationships

This group is for students who would like to learn and practice skills to develop good relationships and cope with intense negative feelings, like extreme sadness, anxiety, and anger. In this group members will understand how their moods, thoughts and behaviors impact each other. They will become more self-aware, learn how to get along and communicate better with people, and learn ways to manage difficult feelings and emotional crises. Members will be encouraged to practice their skills throughout the week. Weekly attendance is required.

Group Meets:

  • Thursdays in-person at CAPS (Russ Hall side entrance), 11:30a.m.-12:30p.m.
  • Space is limited to the first 8 participants. Groups members must first meet with group leaders to be included in the group.
