To reach a licensed mental health clinician after hours or over break,<\/strong> please call the CAPS front desk at 973-655-5211 and select option ‘2’.<\/p>\n

Please call CAPS at 973-655-5211 to schedule an appointment. In addition, Montclair State University students, faculty and staff are encouraged to register for free online mental health support through TAO Connect<\/a>. Free teletherapy for students is available through Uwill<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If you would like to find an off-campus provider (counselor, psychiatrist, therapist etc.), then please contact CAPS or visit our CAPS Referral Website<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n

For outreach requests, please fill out our Outreach Request Form<\/a>. We will promptly return calls during business hours, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.<\/p>\n

In case of psychiatric emergency during non-business hours, please contact your nearest emergency room or University Police at 973-655-5222<\/a>.<\/p>\n
