- Students between the ages of 13-18 who reside in Paterson and/or currently attend a Paterson Public School
- Students who are potential first generation college bound
- Neither parent/guardian can currently possess a bachelor’s degree
- Students who meet the low-income requirements as defined by the Federal Government
- Students who are U.S. citizens, permanent residents or in the process of applying for permanent residency
- Students with a minimum GPA of 2.5
- Students who want to pursue higher education and show commitment to their studies
- Students who demonstrate the potential for academic success and personal growth
