We had the opportunity to hear from wonderful representatives from Genewiz: Aaron White, Human Resources Project Manager; Abby Candelora, Team Lead for Sanger Sequencing; Michele Demko, Team Lead for Next Generation Sequencing, Brian Mitchell, Laboratory Technician II; Jennifer Pestalozzi, Team Lead for Sales Operations; Dr. Minqian Wang, Study Manager for Next Generation Sequencing; and Edward Shepherd, Shift Manager.<\/p>\n<p>Collectively, our students at Montclair State University (MSU) learned how their courses in molecular biology, genetics, and more directly related to industry needs and the practices of genomics.
