{"id":43,"date":"2018-05-21T10:41:49","date_gmt":"2018-05-21T14:41:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/distinguished-graduates\/?p=43"},"modified":"2020-03-23T14:22:01","modified_gmt":"2020-03-23T18:22:01","slug":"denise-rover-84","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/distinguished-graduates\/2018\/05\/21\/denise-rover-84\/","title":{"rendered":"Denise Rover &#8217;84"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Denise Rover is a 1984 <em>magna cum laude<\/em> graduate of Montclair State University.\u00a0She received a B.A. degree with a major in Speech and Theatre\/Concentration in Broadcasting.\u00a0 A 35-year veteran of NBCUniversal Media, LLC, Denise has held various positions in Sales, News, and Programming at WNBC-TV.\u00a0 She is an Account Manager in the NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations Sales unit.<\/p>\n<p>Denise recently completed two consecutive two-year terms as the President of the New York Chapter of The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.\u00a0 In her 37 years as a member, she was elected to the Board of Governors of the New York Chapter for three terms.\u00a0\u00a0 She also served as Secretary and Treasurer of the organization.\u00a0 Denise was elected as a Trustee of The National Academy of Television Arts &amp;
