Early College Scholars
Academically ambitious rising high school juniors and seniors have an exciting opportunity to complement high school study with Montclair State University coursework. Earn transferable college credits, experience the rigors and expectations of college-level classes, learn alongside University students and engage in courses taught by University professors on campus or online.
Summer Bridge Program
Incoming freshmen starting in the Fall who have made their deposit are eligible to participate in this five-week, on campus program and earn up to seven credits. Students will participate in classes and activities to help them get a head start and acclimate to college.
Pre-College Access Institute (PCAI)
PCAI provides an opportunity for African Americans, Asian Americans, Indigenous Americans, Pacific Islander Americans, Hispanic/Latinx Americans and multiracial Americans to live on campus and attend workshops. Students will learn how to apply and transition to college, and be confident and succeed while in it.
Model United Nations Summer Academy
Rising high school sophomores through seniors can participate in a comprehensive blend of academic and co-curricular activities that assist in strengthening skills such as leadership, negotiation, public speaking, research, writing and conflict resolution. Students interested in any and every field of academic study are welcome.
Italian Immersion Summer Program
This program is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for rising high school sophomores, juniors and seniors to improve their knowledge of Italian language and culture. In just three weeks, students gain the skills to move with confidence from Italian 3 to an AP or advanced Italian class, while earning 3 college credits.
Hispanic Student College Institute (HSCI)
HSCI provides an opportunity for Hispanic or Chicano/Latino students to live on campus and attend workshops. Students will learn how to apply and transition to college, and be confident and succeed while in it.
