If you want to benefit from the invaluable support and resources the EOF program offers and become a part of our EOF community, we strongly encourage you to apply! We welcome the following EOF applicants: First-Time Freshmen, First-Time Transfer Students, Internal Transfer Students, and Graduate Students (those pursuing a Master&#8217;s or Doctoral degree).To be considered for the EOF program, you must first meet the eligibility criteria set by the State of New Jersey, as listed below:<\/h4>\n<h2>State Eligibility Requirements<\/h2>\n<p>To qualify for admission through the EOF Program (<a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"http:\/\/nj.gov\/highereducation\/EOF\/EOF_Eligibility.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">View State Requirement website<\/a>), you must:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">Reside in New Jersey for at least one year prior to submitting your admission&#8217;s application to the university<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Have received a high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Meet the NJ State Higher Education income criteria\u00a0 (see chart below)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>2026-2027 EOF Income Eligibility Scale with Asset Cap Calculation<\/h2>\n<table style=\"height: 431px\" width=\"1235\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Applicants with a Household Size of<\/strong><\/td>\n<td><strong>Gross Income (Not to Exceed)<\/strong><\/td>\n<td><strong>Max. If you believe you meet the financial eligibility requirements and would like to be considered for EOF, you are encouraged to complete the inquiry form. Please note that the internal transfer process is contingent upon state-level funding; therefore, acceptance is not guaranteed. Submission of the inquiry form does not constitute an official application or admission to the program.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"gmail_default\">\n<p>EOF Counselor\/Transfer Coordinator: <a href=\"mailto:pecoram@montclair.edu\">Melissa Pecora<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/montclair.co1.qualtrics.com\/jfe\/form\/SV_4HMupvM7uwEYLWK\">EOF Internal Transfer Inquiry Form<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2>EOF Graduate Grant<\/h2>\n<h4>You are considered a Graduate Grant Applicant if you are pursuing a Master&#8217;s or Doctoral degree at Montclair State University and meet the eligibility criteria for the EOF Graduate Grant Program.<\/h4>\n<p>The objective of the graduate EOF program is to increase participation in graduate and professional study of New Jersey residents from backgrounds of historical poverty. Students who received EOF grants as undergraduates shall be given priority consideration for EOF graduate grants however, to be considered for the graduate grant you must apply for the grant every academic year, the grant does not automatically roll over.
