The English Department’s Professor Tricia Matthew, who is currently a University of Buffalo CDI Distinguished Scholar<\/a>, has two exciting new accomplishments: her Lapham’s Quarterly<\/em>\u00a0essay “Look Before You Leap<\/a>” was listed as a “notable” one in this year’s Best American Essays<\/a>, and she has been elected as a regional NY\/NJ delegate by the Modern Language Association<\/a>.
