Bryan Angelo is an experienced marketing executive and entrepreneur whose business background dates back to his high school years, when he sold hand-drawn designs to boutique clothing companies in Philadelphia and New York City. Subsequent stints as the owner of his own clothing business and a successful freelance graphic designer gave him insight into the unmet branding and web development needs of small businesses. In response, he founded Empowered Media Group, where he had the opportunity to work closely with a number of startups, helping them develop a strong web presence and a comprehensive user experience strategy. Over time, the company’s clientele grew to include large corporations, and eventually it was acquired.
After relocating to Tampa, Florida, Bryan became involved with a marketing firm called Foundry 119, where he spearheaded an initiative to expand the company’s brand strategy and digital marketing offerings. As Foundry expanded and subsequently acquired a video production company, Bryan was named a partner and tasked with growing a subsidiary brand called Cast & Create. Today, he is managing partner and vice president of marketing at the company, where he has led teams in developing strategic marketing and internal communications programs for global brands such as Uber, GE, RGP, and Publicis.
Away from the office, Bryan has a hand in a variety of unique side ventures. He sits on the board of Ale for Alz, a nonprofit that focuses on raising millennial awareness and funds to support the Alzheimer’s Association. He is an advisor and the senior vice president of digital strategy for a startup called 150Elm, which provides data-driven marketing solutions to premium wine brands. And, he is a mentor to New Jersey-based TechLaunch, a business accelerator program.
