It’s always a happy day at the Feliciano Center for Entrepreneurship when the $10,000 ceremonial check arrives for the TeleBrands Inventors Day for Aspiring Entrepreneurs pitch contest<\/a>. The check will be awarded to one ecstatic team of Montclair State students on May 4, at the University Hall 7th floor conference center.<\/p>\n

The $10,000 pitch contest\u00a0is open to students who have completed the 9-credit Certificate of Entrepreneurship<\/a> (which consists of ENTR 201, 301 and 302). The contest is held each year in May, and is presented by the Feliciano Center for Entrepreneurship<\/a> and funded by AJ Khubani<\/a>, a Montclair State alum who is the founder of TeleBrands<\/a>. The student teams pitch a product or service they have created and refined during two semesters of work.<\/p>\n

The 42 students who are participating come from every college\/school at Montclair State. Give your vocal cords a workout by cheering for the\u00a0students from the college\/school you are affiliated with, or\u00a0root for the student team that has the product\/service you find most interesting!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Preliminary round pitches
\n12:30-1:00 p.m. Promise Prize presentation, awarding of Entrepreneurship Certificates
\n1:00 \u2013 2:00 p.m. Free pizza lunch
\n<\/strong> 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Final round of pitches<\/p>\n

Come to any part of the day that you can, but the most dramatic and exciting part of the day will be 2-4 p.m.<\/strong>!<\/p>\n
