A speaker on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.meetup.com\/Montclair-Entrepreneurs\/events\/234478681\/\">10\/18<\/a> is Adenah Bayoh who escaped civil war in Liberia to immigrate to the U.S., went to public high school in Newark, opened her first IHOP in Irvington at 27 and another IHOP in Paterson, and then expanded from there. Named to Ebony Magazine\u2019s Power 100 list, Adenah still is true to her roots, basing all her business ventures in inner cities. You will be inspired by what this woman has to say.<\/p>\n<p>9. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.meetup.com\/Montclair-Entrepreneurs\/events\/234478681\/\">10\/18 power\/leadership panel<\/a> also features the head of the largest food bank in the country, the wife of a former governor who is a PR guru, and execs from American Express and Wyndham.<\/p>\n<p>8. Laura Overdeck is a math whiz (she has a BA in astrophysics from Princeton). When she had children, Laura decided she wanted to tuck them into bed with something math-related instead of just a story. So she created Bedtime Math Foundation, a nonprofit where Laura writes daily math challenges that are shared for free with parents, as a way to increase children\u2019s access to kid-appealing math. Laura is amazing, and you will want to hear her at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.meetup.com\/Montclair-Entrepreneurs\/events\/234422759\/\">9:30 a.m. 10\/19<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>7. The state of New Jersey has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.montclair.edu\/news\/article.php?ArticleID=17137&amp;ChannelID=7\">officially proclaimed<\/a> Oct. 15-22 as Women Entrepreneurship Week. This is, like, a real thing!<\/p>\n<p>6. Could ballroom dancing make you a better leader and manager?
