The Facilities Maintenance and Energy Management (FMEM) department hosted a lunchtime cookout at the Maintenance Building on Thursday, August 21, 2014.  The cookout, which featured hot dogs with all the fixings, was conceived as a gesture of appreciation to the  240-plus hardworking men and women who comprise the full-time, part-time and student staff within the Access Control, Carpentry, Electric, Energy Management, Grounds, Housekeeping, HVAC, Move and Waste Management, Painting, Plumbing, Repair and Work Control units, all of whom endeavored through full work weeks over the summer to prepare the campus for Opening Day and the Fall semester.<\/p>\n

In addition to the routine work over the last two months preparing MSU\u2019s academic, administrative and residence spaces for full occupation in September, our Maintenance employees were instrumental in the completion of numerous projects including:<\/p>\n
