Choosing Course Materials

Consider relevance and student access as you choose materials for your course.

Incorporating Diverse Course Materials

Choosing Course Reserve and Open Educational Resources

Access to course materials is a social justice issue. To ensure all students have access to course materials, where possible, instructors should place materials on reserve at Sprague Library and/or use Open Educational Resources (OER).

For more on Fair Use and copyright, consult Sprague Librarian Siobhan McCarthy’s research guide on copyright.

For more on Open Educational Resources (OER), Open Access, and Open Textbooks see Sprague Librarian Justin Savage’s research guide on OER.
