These monthly online events will focus on a variety of approaches to assess student learning. How do we know if students are achieving our courses\u2019 learning goals? What assessment practices and technologies are most effective to support student learning?\u00a0 This series will include workshops, presentations and shared best practices from the University community. Upcoming events include the following topics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">November, 2021: Demystifying the Canvas Gradebook<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>December, 2021: Differentiated Assessments in Canvas<\/li>\n<li>February, 2022: Promoting Academic Integrity<\/li>\n<li>March, 2022: Learning Outcomes and Rubrics<\/li>\n<li>April, 2022: Formative Assessments and Feedback<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Our first event, Demystifying the Canvas Gradebook, will share best practices to effectively structure your assignments and gradebook in Canvas. We will present the gradebook from a student\u2019s point of view, while sharing how your choices impact the student experience.
