Permission to park in surface lots and annual parking privileges in the Red Hawk Deck and Carparc Diem Garage are conveyed via a parking permit. There is no cost to employees to park in surface lots. A Red Hawk Deck or Carparc Diem Garage parking permit may be purchased at an annual fee indexed to an employee’s gross annual salary. Deck and Garage permits are available on a first-come, first-served basis and quantities are limited. Permits must be displayed at all times when vehicles are parked on campus. Registered full-time employees may park in Employee Restricted lots at all times; adjuncts and part-time staff may park in these lots after 4:30 p.m. and on weekends with the proper permit displayed. A surface lot hangtag is not bundled with a Deck or Garage permit but is available upon request.<\/p>\n
Daily and short-term parking is also available in the NJ TRANSIT parking garage on Clove Road. For more information, please contact their office at 973-746-4237. This garage is served by University shuttle buses every 10-15 minutes. Short-term parking is also available in the Red Hawk Deck and in metered spaces at hourly rates.<\/p>\n
In addition, Lot 19 is an Employee-Restricted lot seven days a week, from 6:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., at which time it becomes a general (yellow) lot for permit holders only.<\/p>\n
